1) A large truck is crossing a bridge 1 mile long. The bridge can only hold 14000 lbs, which is the exact weight of the truck. The truck makes it half way across the bridge and stops. A bird lands on the truck. Does the bridge collapse?

Ok Imp, since you answered the riddles I will permit you to play in the tournament.

The frog is indeed dead and so cannot swim. I was looking for egg as the more useful broken thing, but I'll accept the other answers. For the truck I think it's either Koala's answer, or the driver isn't included as part of the 14000lbs weight so by the time the bird lands the bridge has already collapsed.
